FREE On-site staff parking at the QEII​

There are 50 free parking spots in the Victoria General parking lot and 100 free parking spots in the Summer St Parkade, Monday to Friday, available to staff on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

How to park at the VG in a FREE parking spot: 

• Parking attendants are on-site starting at 5:30 am. 

• Enter the VG parking lot and collect a rebate ticket from the valet booth or the parking office (NSH ID required).

  • The parking office is in the Centennial building, Room 1-006A, beside the service elevators. Hours: 7 am - 4 pm, M-F (closed for lunch 12-1 pm).

• When 50 rebate tickets are given out, free staff parking is full for the day, and a STAFF PARKING FULL sign is placed at the entrances. 

• Enter the parking ticket and then the rebate ticket for payment when exiting.

How to park at the HI in a FREE parking spot: 

• Parking attendants are on-site starting at 5:30 am. 

• Enter the Summer St Parkade and collect a rebate ticket from the parking attendant on Level 6 (NSH ID required).

  • ​​​If you arrive before 6 am, please proceed to the Help Desk on Level 3.

• Park on Level 6 or 7. ​

• When 100 rebate tickets are given out, free staff parking is full for the day, and a sign is placed at the entrance. 

• Enter the parking ticket and then the rebate ticket for payment when exiting.

​Staff who park in the VG parking lot and Summer Street Parkade between 8:30 am and 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, after the free staff spaces have been filled, will incur a flat rate of $14.50.

 

QEII staff can park for free on-site Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m., as well as evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Please note: the parking deck above the VG cafeteria is closed for repair until further notice and is inaccessible to staff during non-peak hours.
