QEII staff who pledge to use active and/or sustainable transportation- walking, biking, carpooling-at least three times a week receive five free taxi vouchers from Halifax Transit's Guaranteed Ride Home Program to get home from work throughout the year in case of a personal/family emergency or illness, overtime, or if their carpool partner is unavailable. 

Staff can register now until Thursday, December 12, 2024 for Option #1 on the Nova Scotia Health OPT Program Intranet page (on a work computer) to start January 1, 2024.
