Jane Davies
CEO
As Executive Director of Partners for Care (PFC), Jane and her team, work as a non-profit partner of Nova Scotia Health (NSH). Complementing the efforts of NSH, PFC collaborates with businesses to improve healthcare access and to create positive service experiences for patients, healthcare providers, and communities across Nova Scotia.
Jane’s 30 years of experience in communications, stakeholder relations, and project management, and relationship building, along with her passion for the communities she serves, helps PFC to succeed.
When Jane not working, you’ll find her on the golf course. She wouldn’t call herself a pro she’s just there for the fun!
Liz Stockall
Communications & Board Coordinator
Liz Stockall is the Partners for Care Communication & Board Coordinator and works closely with the board on projects that aim to improve healthcare access and positive experience for patients, healthcare providers, and communities across Nova Scotia.
In her spare time, you’ll find Liz curled up with a good book, camping with her partner and their three dogs, or watching the Blue Jays.
Kim MacDonald
Accounting Coordinator
Kim is the accounting coordinator for Partners for Care. She has a background working and volunteering in various accounting roles with small business and with not for profit community focused organizations. She continues to be an active volunteer in the community.
Kim and her husband are the proud parents of three grown children. In her spare time, you will often find her at the cottage with her dogs, family, and friends.
Christa Akerman
Director of Finance
Christa Akerman has over 15 years of experience in operations and finance management. As a member of the Partners for Care team, Christa works to support the strategic vision of the organization by ensuring that financial and operation oversight is at the forefront.
A former business owner, Christa’s decade of entrepreneurial experience includes relationship building, leadership management, and strategic development.
When she’s not working, Christa loves camping season and spending time at the lake with her friends and family.
Cindy Mann
Manager
Partnerships & Projects
Cindy Mann is our Manager, Partnerships and Projects at Partners for Care. She leverages her expertise in creating meaningful connections and driving strategic initiatives forward. A true people-person, she thrives on meaningful connections and is known for her ability to foster collaboration.
In her role, she is responsible for managing the execution of all partnership and project deliverables and is hoping to make a lasting difference in the lives of patients, healthcare providers, and communities throughout Nova Scotia.
Actively contributing to her community, she currently holds the position of Chair of the Board at the Zatzman Sportsplex.
When she isn’t working, she spends time with her husband and takes on the role of chauffeur, shuttling their two kids to various sporting events and activities.
