Off-site Parking at the QEII
FREE parking is exclusively available to QEII staff on a first-come, first-served basis at two off-site parking lots:​

Garrison Grounds Parking Lot has 230 spots available and is located at the corner of Ahern Avenue and Bell Road available to staff Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.

​College Street Parking Lot has 170 spots available and is located at the corner of College St. and Summer St available 24/7.

South Street Lot: The South Street lot is located at 5846 South Street and has 250 spots available for NSH & IWK staff on a first-come, first-served basis 24/7.

Extended Evening Parking Hours at Garrison Grounds: 25 additional parking spaces are now available at Garrison Grounds from 7:30 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Please register your license plate on the tablet at the Halifax Infirmary patient and visitor parking registration desk to avoid receiving a ticket. The tablet is available from 6:45 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays, and the nearest entrance is off Summer Street.
Staff Shuttle Information
A complimentary shuttle is available to transport staff to and from the Garrison Grounds parking lot to the Halifax Infirmary and Victoria General sites Monday through Friday except for Holidays when staff parking is available onsite.

Health Services Managers can provide a taxi chit to commute from your site to Garrison Grounds for those who work shifts that exceed the shuttle times.

On-call parking spots are available for on-call shift staff on P3 (Level 3) of the Summer St Parkade.
