The Departures Line at (902) 480-8000 provides bus departure information. Enter the bus stop number (printed on each bus stop sign) to hear which bus is departing, and at what time, from that bus stop.
“Scheduled to depart” means the system is providing the scheduled times listed in the Rider’s Guide or the Route Schedule. “Estimated to depart” means the system is providing real-time bus departure information.
At some bus terminals, Departures Boards display either real-time or scheduled bus departure information on a large screen. Learn more about Departures.
Frequent updates are also available by following Halifax Transit's official Twitter/X feed at @hfxtransit. You can also call 311 or email contactus@311.halifax.ca for customer service.

Halifax Transit offers wheelchair and mobility scooter orientation sessions to familiarize passengers with boarding and using these apparatuses on buses. To request an orientation, call the Citizen Contact Centre toll-free at 311.
