We are an independent, Board governed non-profit organization that is a separate, yet, complementary partner to Nova Scotia Health. Our mandate is to generate revenues which are reinvested by Nova Scotia Health into patient care.

A hospital auxiliary manages services such as gift shops, cafes, parking, etc.

After more than 20 years of serving as a traditional hospital auxiliary for Nova Scotia Health, PFC is breaking free of this traditional model and entering into a new phase of business planning. We partner with service-based businesses to enrich the lives of those who enter the hospital and health services environment, as well as those who are impacted by the healthcare system outside the walls of the hospital.

Our mandate is provincial. We are constantly looking for ways to improve the experience of patients, loved ones, visitors and employees of our healthcare system across the province.
